Introducing Our Household Pantry: Empowering New Beginnings

When individuals secure housing, they often lack the essential items needed to start this new chapter of their lives. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to settle into a home with dignity. That's why, this past May, we launched our Household Pantry.

Located on the second floor of our newly constructed garage, the pantry provides a dedicated, on-site space where our guests can select the household essentials they need to make their new home truly theirs. This service allows individuals to choose items that fit their unique preferences and needs, empowering them to take charge of their own transition—enhancing their sense of autonomy, self-reliance, and dignity—all at no cost to them.

The success of the Household Pantry depends largely on the generosity of our community—our donors and volunteers—who help make this vital service available. You can help us continue this important work in two meaningful ways:

1. Fund a Welcome Home Kit

A complete welcome home kit typically costs between $300 and $500, depending on individual needs. Your donation can provide a fresh start for someone in need. To fund a kit, simply visit mtko.org/donate.

2. Purchase Items for the Pantry

You can also contribute by purchasing items directly from Matt Talbot's Amazon wish list. These items will be stocked in our Household Pantry, where guests can personalize their welcome home kits. Every item helps create a home, one that reflects their individual journey and new beginning.
